About NICC
The Northern Illinois Conservation Club is a not-for-profit, privately funded organization. Funds come from member’s dues, fund-raising activities and donations. Our educational programs on various conservation, wildlife and preservation subjects are open to the public, at no charge. We are a financially and physically viable organization with many more ideas and projects for teaching and encouraging people of our area the beauty and tranquility that nature displays for us. Why would I want to join your organization? Being a member will give you the satisfaction knowing that you are helping preserve and protect the natural habitat of 62.5 acres. What are the benefits of membership? As a member, you will have access to this natural habitat. You will have the opportunity to come out at any time to relax, picnic, hike the trails, and fish the pond (game fish must be released back into the pond and you may keep the rest). Harvest Fest
Plans are well underway for our 3rd Annual Harvest Fest to be held on Oct. 17. Many activities are scheduled during this two day fundraiser including a bonfire, hayrides, children's carnival games and seasonal stories and more. Be sure to come and purchase your pumpkins and other seasonal decorations. Grab some lunch or dinner at the Conservation Cafe. Admission to the event is free. Tickets for the games will be available for purchase. The Harvest Fest is a great opportunity to volunteer for your club service hours.
