Here is the dough bait and another bait that has worked great for us. You go get the cheapest biscuits from the store and let them set in the refrigerator opened for a couple of days and then you roll then up into small balls and put them on your hook. (We prefer treble hooks because they stay on better and longer) Now you have a great dough bait that ain't too complicated.

The other bait that has worked great for us is just plain old bacon. You can usually go to the grocery store and ask someone for some scrap bacon that they are throwing out and you may get it !!!! It DOES NOT come off your hook that easily especially if you use a treble hook. All you have to do is get a small piece and keep on wrapping it around all three hooks when using a treble hook. But be careful when using this because the first thing we caught with bacon was a turtle!!!!
