Mine is a very simple recipe to make right on the bank. My son and I use this when we fish for carp and they keep us busy all day long biting. We normally will go thru 2 jars a day and a few bananas. Take extra bananas along. The extra bananas make a good snack.
Take one jar of regular wheat germ, 1 medium banana and add more banana till right consistency.
Just work the banana into the wheat germ until you have a consistency that will stay onto a #6 treble hook. Use a big enough ball to cast out without using any weight. Take a small cork push out the hook end of it and turn it so it will pass thru it ly. Attach it over the line between the first two eyes of your rod and bring in the slack of your line until you have about a foot of droop in the line with the cork hanging down. When that cork is brought up against the rod, set the hook.
