- 2 Cups of Milk
- 2 Cups of Soybean Meal
- 2 Cups of Rolled Oats (Oatmeal)
- 1 Can of Cream Style Corn
In a saucepan, bring milk just to a boil and add rolled oats. Let cook for about 2 minutes while constantly stirring. Remove from heat. (You will know if you done it right if you get a creamy oatmeal look). Mix off heat for about 2 minutes. Put rolled oats into large mixing bowl or bait bucket. Then add soybean meal and the corn. Then mix well, and hold on. I have caught many many carp with this recipe.
If you want to catch catfish, just let sour for a couple of days and it will do the trick also. I caught a 25 1/2 pound blue cat off this stuff. It is a good bait to use when wanting to bait up a hole and get those monsters in there. You will need to rebait every 10-15 min. Have fun and good luck on your next fishing trip.
Oh yeah, you can also add flavors to this, just don't add all at once cause the fish might not like the flavor you are using and your bait will be ruined. One more quick tip for you smokers, it is good practice to wash your hands off with water and dry them !
before putting your hands in any bait because the smell of the smoke on your fingers can ruin the bait also. Once again, good luck and happy catching.
