Species of Fish

There is a variety of species in Pistakee Lake. Bluegill are abundant with many in the 5" to 6" range along with high concentrations of Walleye - mostly in the spring and fall. Also Channel Catfish are quite prevalent in this lake, as they are the main predator. The following lists the types of fish that can be found in Pistakee Lake, in the order of their abundance:

Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, Yellow Bass, Muskie, Channel Catfish, Black & White Crappie, White Bass, Northern Pike, Bullhead, Carp, Walleye, Perch
